This grown-up twist on The Ampersand Hotel’s Jurassic Afternoon Tea includes playful treats and fruity cocktails for an exciting dino experience.

Enjoy a cocktail flight including Dino Sour, T-rex Mex and Raptor Brew served alongside our Jurassic afternoon tea.

Expect a delicious selection of sandwiches, scones and Jurassic inspired pastries including Elderflower and mixed berry jelly, Raspberry & lemon volcano eruption, dark chocolate & caramel dinosaur egg nest and Chocolate dinosaur.

But just because it’s for grown-ups doesn’t mean it’s lost all the fun: you can dust for mini dinosaur biscuit ‘fossils’ hidden beneath chocolate soil.

We invite you to our grown-up twist on The Ampersand Hotel’s famous Science Afternoon Tea. Our Science Teapot Tales, combine unique flavour combinations with scientific quirks and a flight of 3 cocktails.

You can expect a mix of exciting and curious dishes, from jellies served in petri dishes, to chocolate spacemen and dinosaur biscuits. This is paired with afternoon tea favourites, like scones, sandwiches as well as the all important flight of cocktails.

The inspiration behind the tea comes from the Natural History and Science Museums. Here, they experiment with sounds and visuals, making each experience interactive. We wanted to do the same with our afternoon tea.

Our Kid’s Sci-Fi Tea is suitable for children up to 12 years old. Kindly note that there is a minimum of one paying adult that must accompany each booking with a child, we do not allow tables of only children.
